We retrofit nearly any clubhead brand/design ... you select the head; we use our in-house inventory or locate and purchase the selected heads
We custom rebuild the set of heads you have chosen to our VariMatch™ quality standards ... the retrofit process includes:
- Refinishing the heads to nearly new condition
- Reaming the the hosel to a uniform depth needed to accept the shaft of your choice
- Weighing and then re-weighting each head to the exact weight needed for our VariMatch™ System
- Sorting and using a very tight set of frequency matched shafts, then tip/butt trimming each shaft to meet your individual VariMatch™ frequency slope pattern/need (frequency tolerance standards <= 2 cpm)
- Matching your finished length specifications to our proprietary finished length pattern
- Adjustment of loft and lie to fit your specified fitting solution
Custom clubfitting is accomplished via e-mail and telephone interview ... we lead you through the process ... you get individually crafted clubs exceeding tour player specifications
- Selection of the best clubhead for your skill/goals
- Selection of the best shaft for your swing speed/type
- Individual specifications for finished length, estimated swing weight (a secondary consideration to shaft flex, but still tightly matched), loft pattern, lie angle pattern
Final price is determined by the cost of the heads plus any additional services/options (i.e. cord or hi tech grips) are available upon request ... typically you get all we offer for about 50% of the original brand name price

What are your clubs doing to you? Why reinvent the wheel? By measuring your existing clubs we can duplicate the performance of your favorite club into a fully matched set. This raises the question “Why do clubs in the same (matched) set feel and play different?”

What are you doing to your clubs? By looking at your pre-swing fundamentals we can identify the cause of 80% of your in-swing errors. Yes, clubs can be scientifically and accurately fit indoors … we just need to collect the correct information! When in doubt, we go outdoors and watch the ball fly.

Clubhead design: You’re choosing more than just a pretty clubhead. Your choices also include: face angle, blade length and depth, head depth, sole radius, weight distribution pattern and other important factors.

Shaft Specifications: Your choices include: flex, flex point, frequency profile, material and weight.

Individual Specifications: Your choices include: grip style, grip size, finished length, lie angle and loft angle.

VariMatch™ is a different and better way to build golf clubs. We do REAL in-house frequency matching using original Brunswick equipment … we precision match even True Temper Dynamic Gold and Precision FM shafts.

VariMatch™ ensures every club in the bag feels and plays exactly the same.
“Who says every club in the bag has to be either a regular or a stiff flex?”

VariMatch™ means each club is variably flexed and weighted within an individually crafted flex (stiffness) pattern. Longer clubs are slightly stiffer and heavier (than typical clubs) to give you better directional control and more solid contact. Shorter clubs are slightly more flexible to give you better feel and distance control.

VariMatch™ goes well beyond the traditional principles of club design … we also conform to the laws of motor learning science which ultimately determine how well satisfied you are with you new clubs.

Sophisticated golfers have long known this FACT … there’s no such thing
as a tightly matched set of clubs, regardless of brand name or price
when they come out of a factory! Common problems include:

Mismatched shaft flexes
Inconsistent finished lengths
Mismatched lie angles
Mismatched loft angles
Inconsistent swing weights

We Don’t Build Clones!

Our VariMatch™ system is used to RETRO-FIT (reshaft) every brand name … Ping, Armour, Wilson, TaylorMade, Titleist, Cobra … we bring these clubs up to our quality specifications OR we can build a new set from scratch using any of a dozen head designs supplied from a number resources. DO NOT confuse our products with cloned clubs. We do not use any supplier who advertises their clubheads to be a knockoff of some major brand name.

 This said, we also understand, there is very little difference in the physical appearance between
typical brand name clubs and component supplied clubheads.  Once we have the clubhead
properly weighted, who made the head no longer important.

 There is no known quality differences between a brand name clubhead and a component
supplied clubhead.  If fact, after gutting every major brand name and measuring critical factors,
we have found many brand name clubs are inferior to component suppliers.  This is especially true
when we purchase several sets of head and individually weight then sort and match them into a
tightly grouped set.

 As a final step all VariMatch™ clubs are individually adjusted to precise tolerances for loft and
lie angles … you get a perfectly matched set of clubs that will perform as advertised and remove
any doubt that “it was the club’s fault!”
